High Chaparral was a great western series of the late sixties, and this is more up to date high Chaparral !! A great saddle position giving good all round visibility and all the refinements of the homestead, including separate head, microwave, heater the list goes on. The Americans know how to fit out their boats and this is no exception, criticism sometimes for their overuse of large petrol engines, this is also a Petrol drive version but with a twist, a professionally installed LPG system from the UK. This gives enormous savings in fuel when using Liquid Petroleum Gas, also flexibility to use Petrol as well. LPG is not available in the marinas here yet and the owner trailers the boat a couple of miles to fill up. That aside this is an excellent example of a comfortable, previously only freshwater used boat.
